About the Artist

Courtney Knockel
Courtney studied art at the University of Wisconsin, where she got her degree in art education in 2018. She is a 2D artist from a small town in Wisconsin, working primarily in acrylics. While this is her main focus, she also does drawing and occasionally mixed media work. Much of her work is inspired by the beauty of nature and the divine feminine.
Courtney has exhibited at Galena Center for the Arts in Galena, IL, Community Artists Gallery in New Bern, NC and in juried shows at Craven Arts Council & Gallery: Bank of the Arts in NC, as well as local art fairs in Madison, Sun Prairie, Baraboo, Cuba City, and Platteville, Wisconsin. She has also exhibited works at a local coffee shop, Badger Brothers Coffee, in Platteville, WI. She currently has work on display at Makers Market Square in Mount Horeb, WI.
